20th Anniversary of the Band!!!

2002 marked the 20th anniversary of the band! We would like to thank all the the people who have come to see us play over the years in all the many clubs across Connecticut. We are calling this years tour: 5 will get you 20 - Tour 2005

Murry, Greg and Pete would like to thank Mike and Don Payton of the Brotherhood Blues Band for jamming with us at Connies in Derby ..lets record it next time!!!

Off to the Long Island we go...

MTW heads out to  the Hamptons to play at 4 Doors in Matituck on Friday May 27th..come on down and see the band!

Open MIC night at The Red Arrow

Thursday night open mic night has been moved to THE RED ARROW  in Devon (Milford)..Nothin like bein back home! Be there...

On The Brink..

Pete's new latest project is actaully a long running original band from Weston called The Brink.. look for an MP3 of their new song Last Man Alive on this site in June..

The Boxcar..

We had a great time at the Boxcar in Southport..opening for RICK DERRINGER! 
Murry The Wheel
would like to thank Kevin and Jimmy Awad for makin it happen,  Nikki Armstrong for a great guest vocal..and Brooks for fixing up the sound for us!
Pete would also like to thank all for getting him back to Milford in one piece :) 

Since then we've a had a couple more shows including a great open mic jam on Feb15th..Murry Pete & Greg would like to thank all who came down to jam with us and Mike Littleton (aka the Sound Doctor) for keepin it all soundin good.   We look forward to seeing everyone at Southport's home of the Blues for our next open mics on Tuesday March 22 and Tuesday May 24 

Dont forget to join us  for Pete & Bob's Birthday Show at The Thirsty Turtle in West Haven on Saturday May 14th! Club info and directions on the Gigs page...See you there!

Murry The Wheel headlined at the the 30 the Anniversary Celebration of the Bridgeport Chapter in Stratford on February 18th. We are honored to be a part of the continuing tradition...

AL's Place

You heard it here!! The Grand Opening of Al's Place in Fairfield is on Thursday March 31'st...we'll be playing it so be there!!! Check the gigs page for details...

R.I.P. GUITAR DON

We would like to take a moment to remember Don 'Guitar' Mazza, who passed away recently. Many of us from the Western Ct. music scene remember Don and his great band The Blues Express fondly. Murry's ties with Don go back to the seventies when he was just starting out, Pete played number of shows with the band in the ninties, we all owe Don a lot for getting us started in this business.  

You will be missed. Rock on Don.
